District Court Friday over two TV ads, including one in which executives laugh hysterically at the word "Angus" and another where the chain's mascot, Jack a man with the round clown head and pointy nose is asked to point to a diagram of a cow and show where Angus meat comes from. 48. Steak: Grass-fed vs. grain-fed
You based the purchase on which cut you preferred and whether you wanted to pay the premium price for beef labeled "choice" (a grade that notes plentiful fat streaking called marbling) or, if you could find it, "prime" (a grade with even more marbling) instead of the less-flavorful "select" grade found in many supermarkets. People on the cash side who looked to live cattle futures for guidance after the board rallied on Thursday were probably disappointed when contracts fell Friday, a trader said. Feeder cattle posted a sharply lower settlement on bearish live cattle futures, profit taking by longs, CBOT feedgrain's brief surge and fund selling....

51. Bison buffer idea doesn't gain traction
Schweitzer proposes that any outbreaks of the disease on ranches in an area that extends about 50 miles from the park would not count against the state's brucellosis-free status. Bison carry the disease, as do some other wild animals, and ranchers want to make sure they don't transfer a second case of brucellosis to a domestic cattle herd. The latest round of brucellosis test results, on blood samples drawn from cattle near the original infected herd in Bridger, came back negative...
