12. TUESDAY MORNING CORN UPDATE
The most talked about trade seems to be the long beans/short corn as we continue to get acreage estimates showing big corn acres and lower bean acres. Informa was supposed to release their acreage estimate but has delayed that release until Friday with rumors that they have increase their corn acres and lowered their corn acres from their original estimate released last month. Look for the corn market to open lower today on no new news and see if the funds come after the corn market again...

13. First-Quarter Pork Production Forecast Lowered Slightly
Hog prices will likely be lower in the second half of this year between $44 and $48 per cwt in the third quarter, and between $43 and $47 in the fourth quarter as pork production accelerates seasonally and broiler production increases. Relatively high broiler prices right now, due to lower production, support domestic pork demand and contribute to strong hog prices. The USDA forecast for first-quarter 2007 commercial pork production was lowered 50 million pounds, to 5.325 billion pounds,...

Just enter your name and other important information and get a handful of approval values and rates in minutes....

Wild hogs roaming through at least 39 states are lately alarming wildlife officials by their population growth in northern states, such as Iowa and Michigan. Feral swine, numbering an estimated 4 million nationwide, can spread disease if they come in contact with domestic pigs. Under a national wildlife disease...

16. A boar? Shoot to kill
Wild hogs roaming through at least 39 states lately are alarming wildlife officials by their population growth in northern states, including Michigan. The swine cause crop damage, pose a serious threat to the health and welfare of domestic swine, endanger humans and wildlife populations and the environment by disrupting the ecosystem, officials say. State officials again are encouraging licensed hunters -- with either large- or small-game permits -- to shoot free-ranging wild pigs that are...
